looking for any brand old broken/used/old laptops for cheap or free.
I'm trying to bastardize a couple laptops together for some jeepers in need...

1986 MJ - 3800 camaro powered, 5 speed 4wd
MJ#757-The War Machine.
1987 Comanche, converted to 95 4.0 H.O. with .030 bore, 2001 intake, 62mm TB, borla header.
6.5" lift, dana 30 front 44 rear 4.10 gears. custom front and rear bumpers, custom interior, roll bar, OBA, and rock rails (under works).

I have an older IBM Thinkpad laying around. XP Professional; approx. 2.2Ghz; 256k RAM; 40GB HD;...I think.
The top half is cracked near the right hinge. It's still got about 12GB of pictures, work related documents, and msc. games/other on it. But I recovered most of what I need from it, so it has been on the bar downstairs for about two years. You're welcome to it.

How old is "old"? I have an old dell around here, but it might be older than what you want. Its a Dell Latitude with a PIII and came with Win 2kpro. I don't have the power adapter for it, so functionality is unknown.

one that I'm working on is a PII...so that pIII is actually newer.
these are just internet machines for my friend aaron and my friend zach...both jeepers.
any chance that they could be boxed and shipped? I would of course cover shipping.
stickbow, If you'd like, I could pull everything off of that IBM for you, and put it on a thumb drive then send it back...or you could just pull the hard drive and keep it, but I actually need an ibm thinkpad hard drive caddy...
